A few weekends ago we joined our friends in East Falls to watch the famous Falls Bridge get lit for the first time publicly. In attendance were some political celebrities like Ed Rendel and Michael Nutter. It was really great to see our bridge lit after all these years. I used to always think it would be a beautiful bridge if lit at night. Now I no longer need to daydream about it! The trouble is that we very rarely have a reason to drive on or past the Falls Bridge. Oh well.
